Welcome to the web site of St Albans Folk at the Festival. This is where you can find details of what is happening during our Folk at the Festival weekend, Friday June 25 to Sunday June 27. You can also find information about other activities organised by local groups and others during the rest of the festival fortnight, together with links to their web sites.
Our weekend starts with the Festival Concert at the Redbourn Village Hall by the London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra
Saturday opens with the Festival Parade and Day of Dance and continues with a singaround at the Lower Red Lion. It comes to a climax with the Festival ceilidh in the Alban Arena with Florida and caller, Chris Pitt.
Sunday’s events feature local singers and musicians, as part of a larger set of festival events in St Albans City Centre. They will include a traditional music session at the Boot, Market Place. |
